Perk, Genevieve (nee Stramalia) Of East Troy, formerly of St. Germain and Sayner, WI. Found peace Tuesday Sept. 19, 2006 at Lakeland Health Care Center. She was born on Aug. 17, 1913 in Chicago, IL to Michael and Lillian (nee Devito) Stramalia.on Sept. 14, 1949 she married Walter Raymond Perk in Chicago and moved to St Germain in 1957. They established Perks Resort, where Genevieve was the chief operator and head chief. In 1993 she moved to the East Troy area, and became a member of St. Peters Catholic church. She is survived by her son Robert (Audrey) of East Troy. Grandchildren Nicholas (grad of gateway tech and further education at Mich. Tech) and Rebecca Perk (Ripon College). Her sisters Frances Jansen and Jean Lowery other relatives and many friends also survive her. Genevieve is preceded in death by her husband, parents, Brother Ben and Sisters Camille, Amy and Lillian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat. Sept. 23 10:30am with a visitation and hour prior at St. Peters Catholic Church. Fr. Larry officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorials the Alzheimer’s Research appreciated.
