BOLTON, Edward O. 82, life long resident of the Elkhorn/East Troy Area, passed away Sunday Oct 22, 2006. He was born on Jan. 19, 1924 To Edward C. and Eva(Cooper) Bolton. He graduated from Elkhorn high School in 1941. He married Florence Hensel on Sept. 13, 1943 and happily Celebrated 63 years together. His life was spent following his passion and Love for farming and his family. He served on the pure milk board and the Town of Spring Prairie board of Supervisors.He was a past president of the East Troy Lions Club. After his semi-retirement from farming, Ed worked for the Equity Co-op in East Troy. He also sold John Deere equipment for Power Town in Elkhorn. Ed and Florence had Many happy memories traveling, playing cards, and visiting with their many Friends, family, and acquaintances. Ed is survived by his wife, Florence; 2 daughters Diane Taylor of East Troy and Mary Bolton of Burlington; 1 son James(Dorothy) Bolton of Burlington. 8 grandchildren Laurie, Sandy, Kim, Kris Jimmy, Doug, Nick, and Marcia. 20 great grandchildren And his dear friend John Goetsch. He was preceded in death by his Parents and 2 sons John, and David. A celebration of Edward’s life will Be held with a Funeral Mass Thursday October 26, 2006 12 noon With a visitation from 10am until the time of Mass all at St Peter’s Catholic Church. Interment German Settlement Cemetery.
