Jordan R. Carlson 82, East Troy, Wi. died Thursday February 22, 2007 at Kiwanis Manor East Troy. He was born July 8, 1924 to Carl and Frances(Atkinson) Carlson in Albany, Wi. He was a WWII Marine that served in the South Pacific in the Amphibian division. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin platteville in 1950 with a degree in Education. It was there he met his wife Mary Jean(Schmoekel)Carlson. They were married 59 1/2 years. Jordan taught at Elkhorn until 1955 when he was asked to start up Brookfield Central. He then taught shop class there until 1984. He loved his farm which he named Deligo Valley where he gardened and farmed. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Mary Jean, his son Dr. Steven K.(Joann)Carlson, Elsworth, his daughters Lynn(Troy) McDonald, Memphis and Maryann, East Troy, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandson's and by all whose lives he touched. Visitation Sunday February 25, 2007 11am to 1:30pm with a service at 1:30pm, all at Legacy Funeral Services. Happy Hour at Ivans on the Square at 2pm. Memorials to Kiwanis Manor and or Seasons Hospice.
