Fidler, Alan B. age 84 of East Troy died in Mukwonago, Wi On Feb. 25, 2007. He was born on June 30, 1922 in West Allis To Clarence and Marie(Bandelin) Fidler. He graduated from West Allis Central High School. Went to the University of Wisconsin Madison. He did his internship at Deaconess Hospital, his Residency in Kansas City, Kansas, a fellowship at Queens Hospital in Toronto, Canada for Radiation Oncology. He was a Radiation Oncologist He founded the Nuclear medicine department at St Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee. He retired in 1988. He married Betty Mae Meyer on May 24, 1947 in Cecil, Wi. and they resided at Fort Ord, California as Alan was Serving in The U.S. Army. He was a member of St James United Methodist church, the AMA, the University of Wis. Alumni, And Phi Chi Medical Fraternity. He was a voracious reader, an authority on Classical music, he loved photography, and astronomy, but most Of all he loved his family and was very proud of them. He is survived By his wife Betty, children Susan(Barry) Watson of East Troy, Jahn(Kathy) Fidler of East Troy, Paul(Laura) Fidler of Madison. Grandchildren Amy(Shawn) Kesler, Jenny(Horace) Lo, Kristin(Greg) Janssen, Andrew(Jamie) Shafer, Chris(Carrie) Fidler, Jason Fidler, Maya Fidler, Shawn Yarmo, Darwin Fidler Great Grandchildren Abby Kesler, Brianna Kesler, Jessica Kesler, Taylor Janssen, Molly Janssen, Mattox Lo, and Alan’s kitty Eva. One brother Howard(Jo) Fidler, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be Held on Wednesday Feb. 28, 2007 2pm with a visitation from 12 noon Until the time of service all at St James United Methodist Church. In Lieu Of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society or St James United Methodist Church are greatly appreciated.
