SCHMIDT, Darlene age 77 of East Troy Passed away on March 21, 2007. She was born on July 2, 1929 in Oakpark, Il to Harry and Helen Weiland. She graduated from Proviso Township High School in Maywood, Il. She married Arthur Schmidt On Feb. 5, 1955 and they were longtime East Troy residents. Darlene was a homemaker And a business owner. She was a partner in The Hobby Craft House. She loved crafts and Needle point. Her other loves were her family, Cardinals, and reading. She was a boy scout Leader, a volunteer at Kiwanis Manor, a snowbird And a member of many motor home clubs. She Was a member of St James United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children Mark(Sue) Schmidt, And Bonny(Jeff) Fish, grand children Debra(Jake) Schaitel, Michel(Jim) Eagleson, Sarah Smith, Jamie(Chris) Tomazin, Jay fish, and Brittini Fish. Great grand children Dakota, Jesse, Daven, Makala, Cohner, and Milton. Brother –in- law Paul(Diane) Schmidt, special friends Frank(Ruth) Kelling, and Ken(Jane) Reith. She was preceded in Death by her husband Arthur and her parents. A private service will be held.
