Oberholtzer, Donald E. “Obie” age 76 of East Troy passed away at home on Friday April 6, 2007. He was born on September 24, 1930 to Frank and Evelyn “Peg” (Jensen) Oberholtzer in North Prairie, Wi. He graduated from Mukwonago High School. He married Ellen “Bea” Jensen Oberholtzer on Dec. 29, 1952 in Chicago, Il and they resided in North Prairie until their move to East Troy. They were longtime residents of the East Troy area. He served our country in the U.S. Army. Obie was an owner of Beulah Vista Restaurant on the north shore of Lake Beulah, Peg’s Supper Club on the east shore of Lake Beulah, and Obie’s Cobblestone bar and restaurant on the village square. During his retirement he still worked as a bartender at RJ’s. He was the past commander of the American Legion, a member of the Wisconsin Tavern League, and a member of the chamber of Commerce. He will be missed by his loving wife Bea, his children Mike Oberholtzer and Cindy(Jerry) Kuczynski, grandchildren Karina, Kyle, and Tommy Kuczynski, Samantha Price, and Isabelle Oberholtzer, one brother Douglas(Donna) Oberholtzer. Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and many friends also Survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, a Daughter Penny Price, one brother Robert Oberholtzer. A funeral service will be held Tuesday April 10, 2007, 7pm At the funeral home with a visitation from 4pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family are greatly appreciated.
