SODERBERG, Earl age 81 of East Troy found peace at home on Sept. 9, 2008. He was born on December 18, 1926 to Emil and Mabel(Torgeson) Soderberg in Clear Lake, Wisconsin and raised in Amery, Wi. until he relocated here in East Troy to manage the Equity Coop in 1960 where he met the love of his life Sandra Rings. They were married in Chicago in 1964. They were longtime residents of East Troy. Earl was a member of the East Troy school board, the Lions club, American Legion, the East Troy Historical Society, the East Troy Fire Department and Rescue Squad. He served in the United States Army in Korea. He is survived by his wife Sandra, sons Earl”Tiger”(Mary), Mark”Sparky”(Tracy), and Mike “river runt”, Grandchildren Ethan, Shelby, Zach, Tyler, and Emma a brother Tom(Arlene), nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Opal. A funeral service will be held Sept. 12th at 12 noon with a visitation from 10am until the time of service all at St James United Methodist Church 2974 Main St. East Troy.
