BERGER, Max age 77 of East Troy, passed away in Milwaukee, on Tuesday Sept. 16th. He was born to Peter and Mary(Windpassinger) Berger in Milwaukee on July 17, 1931. He graduated from Boys Tech and did a 5 year apprenticeship to become a tool and die maker. He worked for GP&F for 25 yrs., and A.C. Delco for 10 yrs. He married Clara(Hein) Berger on July 28, 1962 and they were lifetime residents of the East Troy area. He served for the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was a member of the Sno-Soopes of Mukwonago and St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Max loved fishing, Hunting, camping, and snowmobiling. He is survived by his wife Clara, children Mark(Kim) Berger, Susan Santos, and Ronald(Chery Cardinal)Berger,grandchildren Katherine Berger, Jacob Berger, Antonio Santos, Sister-in-law Jacqueline Berger, brother-in-law Robert Newton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Joseph Berger and a sister Marion Strasser. A service of Christian burial will be held Saturday September 20th at 11am with a visitation from 9am until the time of service all at St Peter’s Catholic Church 1975 Beulah Ave. East Troy, Wi.
