MACKENZIE, Jane(Mitten) age 91 of East Troy passed away on Friday Dec. 5, 2008. She was born on Nov. 14, 1917 to Joseph and Edna(Gaskell) Mitten and was a lifetime resident of the East Troy area. She graduated from the East Troy school system. She married Jack Mackenzie and was a homemaker for her family. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her son John(Kathleen) of East Troy, grandchildren Scott of East Troy, Patti of Elkhorn, and Sean of East Troy. Great granddaughter Megan Mackenzie, and great grandson Daven Stamm, nephew Dan Riese, Nieces Ruthann Billings,and Julane(Babe)Scheel. A Funeral service was held on Tuesday Dec. 9, 2008 at St Peter’s Catholic Church with a burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials to the East Troy Library appreciated, reading was Jane’s passion.
